Gasoline Hydraulic Power Unit OEM Requirements

Hydrath is your trusted Gasoline Hydraulic Power Unit engineering partner, supporting CAD reviews and integration with existing frames, manifolds, and cylinders.
Each engine‑driven unit is 100% inspected and tested on pressure/flow benches for consistent output.
Choose Honda GX/Vanguard platforms with selectable 5–8 GPM at 2000 psi for HTMA Class I/II tools, or 5–25 GPM configurations for broader field demands.
With portable roll‑cage frames and service‑friendly in‑tank filtration, off‑grid installation stays fast and maintenance stays dependable across construction sites, marine lifts, forestry and rescue operations.

Gasoline vs diesel vs electric—how should I choose?

Go gasoline when you need portable, off‑grid power and moderate duty.
Pick diesel for long, heavy cycles and higher pressure.
If site power is available, electric smart packs win on low noise, zero local emissions and finer control.
Choose based on duty cycle, load, site power and total cost.

How do I size the reservoir and plan cooling/filtration?

For 5–25 LPM, a 15–40 L tank keeps oil recirculating and heat under control.
Use in‑tank return filtration (β≥200), add a pressure‑line filter for sensitive tools, and fit an air/oil cooler for continuous duty or hot climates.

Can one unit support single‑acting and double‑acting circuits?
Yes. Single‑acting uses gravity/spring return with basic check/relief; double‑acting needs a directional valve and a clean return path.
Most petrol units offer manifolds that can be set up for either.

Honda GX (e.g., GX200/GX390) and Briggs & Stratton Vanguard are safe bets—reliable, easy to service, strong torque.
Size engine power to the GPM/psi you need and the duty cycle you expect.

Aim for electric start, low‑oil shutdown, an hour meter, in‑tank filtration you can access fast, tool circuit lockout during engine start, and sturdy roll‑cage/cart frames for safer transport.
